ACCOMPLISHMENTS & HIGHLIGHTS

TCC Year End Review Highlights

  • In 2022 TCC's Fire and Rescue Program had 13,930 enrollments representing a 15% increase from the previous year

  • TCC was ranked #5 of the nation's top community colleges for total enrollments of Hispanic students

  • TCC's fall-to-fall retention rate for degree-seeking first time in college students increased about 10 percentage points to 61%, the highest rate in a decade

  • In fall 2022, TCC disbursed $38.6 million in financial aid to students (as of 11/21/22)

  • For the 2021-2022 award year TCC disbursed $92 million in Higher Education Emergency Relief (HEERF) student grants

  • In 2021-22 TCC conferred 7,437 degrees and certificates. Of these, 3,001 were workforce awards sending highly skilled workers into the local technical workforce. The remaining 4,330 degrees were students who plan to continue their studies toward a bachelor's degree. Of these graduates, 522 were ECHS/dual credit graduates

  • In 2022, TCC executed 37 articulation agreements with higher education partners, bringing the total count of active articulation agreements to 172

  • There are 1,281 veterans and eligible family members using Department of Veterans Affairs benefits in the Fall 2022

  • The Student Emergency Assistance Fund has provided over a half-a-million dollars ($527,347) in grants to students since it started in 2019
